Drone Attacks Target Wildberries Warehouses in Krasnodar
Last night, drones struck logistics facilities operated by Wildberries in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk, resulting in warehouse fires. Emergency services responded swiftly, ensuring that all personnel were evacuated according to safety protocols. The Russian Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case categorized as a terrorist act under Article 205 of the Criminal Code.
The Krasnodar sorting center, which has been operational since 2022, covers an extensive area of 100,000 square meters and plays a vital role in Wildberries' logistics network. Following the incident, the company is reassessing its security protocols to avert future occurrences. The Nevinnomyssk facility, similarly crucial for the storage and distribution of goods, was also impacted by the attack.
This event raises alarm among local authorities and logistics firms, highlighting the vulnerability of infrastructure amid contemporary threats. Experts warn that such incidents may undermine the perception of safety within the sector and necessitate a review of protective strategies for logistics hubs.
