Millions in Investment: Wildberries Launches Hub in Uzbekistan
At the Tashkent International Investment Forum, RWB's CEO Robert Mirzoyan announced the establishment of a new logistics hub in Uzbekistan, backed by a $300 million investment. This initiative is set to significantly transform the logistics infrastructure of Central Asia, where Wildberries, a part of the RWB group, plans to construct a state-of-the-art sorting center and warehouse to enhance export operations. The Central Asian hub will serve as a pivotal component in the company's strategy to expand its footprint in the region, consolidating all necessary logistics resources. This will not only increase delivery volumes but also improve customer service quality, positively impacting commercial development within the country. Analysts indicate that such large-scale investments in infrastructure, like those by Wildberries, could substantially accelerate job growth in the logistics sector across Moscow and its neighboring areas, potentially reaching the highest levels seen in 11 years. This development is expected to attract new talent into the industry, contributing to further growth in the labor market.
