New Import Labeling Service Launched in Yaniro

The logistics sector has witnessed a significant development with the launch of a new import labeling service by Global Ports and multimodal operator Ruscon. This initiative, which is part of the national labeling system 'Honest Sign', aims to streamline the monitoring of product quality and legitimacy. The service is being implemented at the Global Ports terminal in the Yaniro logistics park, situated just outside St. Petersburg. Each shipment of imported goods will now undergo a labeling process, enhancing transparency. The first batch of 27 forty-foot containers has already been successfully labeled this month, overseen by the customs operator TOLL-RU, affiliated with Ruscon. This new measure is expected to not only expedite operations at the terminal but also boost consumer and business partner confidence in imported goods. The launch of this service marks an important step towards improved supply chain management and quality control across the Russian market.
