New Marking Service for Imports Launched by Global Ports and Ruscon
In a significant move to enhance logistics operations, Global Ports and multimodal operator Ruscon have unveiled a new marking service for imported goods as part of the national 'Honest Mark' system. This initiative is operational at the 'Y any no' logistics terminal, situated just 30 kilometers from the bustling port of Saint Petersburg, positioning it strategically for efficient distribution.
The marking process is managed by the customs division of Ruscon, known as TsollRU, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and optimizing the certification process for importers. The inaugural marking event took place in June, successfully processing a shipment of 27 forty-foot containers, marking a pivotal moment for the service's rollout.
This collaboration between Global Ports and Ruscon emphasizes the companies' dedication to adapting to evolving market demands and regulatory landscapes. The introduction of this service is expected to streamline logistics operations further, making imported goods more accessible to domestic markets and enhancing competitive advantages for local businesses.
