Ozon Expands Logistics with 15 New Centers
Amidst the rapid rise of online shopping, Ozon is set to enhance its logistics network across Russia. Igor Zimin, the company's vice president, announced plans to establish 15 new logistics complexes in 2026. This significant expansion will include both fulfillment centers offering a full range of services and specialized facilities for handling bulky goods.
Since the beginning of 2026, Ozon has already launched five logistics centers, demonstrating their commitment to scaling operations and improving delivery efficiency. The upcoming complexes are expected to enhance both the speed and quality of customer service, catering to the increasing demands for fast and reliable deliveries. In a highly competitive market, a lack of flexibility can lead to losing customers, making this expansion critical.
At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Zimin emphasized that the growth of online sales stems from consumers' desire for quick and convenient product access. Strengthening infrastructure is a key component of Ozon’s strategy aimed at solidifying its position in the Russian market and meeting the evolving needs of consumers.
