Ozon to Expand Logistics Network in Russia
In 2026, Ozon plans to significantly enhance its logistics infrastructure by launching 15 new complexes across Russia. The company has already opened five major logistics centers this year, underscoring its ambition to lead in fast delivery and product handling. According to Igor Zimin, Ozon's Vice President for Government Relations, the new facilities will feature both comprehensive fulfillment centers and specialized sites for handling bulky goods.
This expansion is a direct response to the increasing demand for online shopping, which has surged in recent years. By simplifying the delivery process, Ozon aims to provide customers with a high level of service and accessibility to a wide range of products. The new centers are expected to not only improve logistic efficiency but also create additional job opportunities in the regions.
The St. Petersburg Economic Forum served as an excellent platform for discussing these initiatives, which hold particular significance in the current market landscape. Ozon is steadily progressing towards its goal of becoming a dominant player in the Russian e-commerce sector, which will undoubtedly enhance customer service and convenience.
