RZD Boosts Freight Handling at Terminals

In the first half of 2026, the freight terminals of OAO RZD achieved remarkable results, processing over 35 million tons of various cargo. Significant increases were recorded at several key terminals, highlighting the company’s resilience and operational efficiency in a shifting economic landscape. The TLC Khabarovsk II terminal led the way with cargo throughput surpassing 930,000 tons, marking a 23% increase from the previous year. Similarly, the Trofimovsky 2 freight terminal in the Saratov region saw its volumes skyrocket by 2.4 times, reaching over 730,000 tons. The Voskresensk terminal in the Moscow region also exhibited impressive growth, with cargo amounts rising to 559,000 tons, representing a 50% increase from earlier figures. These positive trends indicate a high level of adaptability among the terminals in response to external challenges and market demands. Continued growth is anticipated for the latter half of the year, enabling RZD to strengthen its position in the national logistics arena.
