RZD Sees Container Traffic Surge in H1 2026
Recent statistics reveal that the Russian Railways, known as RZD, experienced a notable increase in container traffic during the first half of 2026, with growth recorded at 3.7%. Nearly 4 million TEUs, encompassing both loaded and empty containers, were transported within this period, signaling a healthy trend in the logistics sector across the nation. This figure reflects the variety and complexity of both domestic and international supply chains. Breaking down these numbers, it is noteworthy that domestic container shipments recorded a slight dip of 2%, totaling 1.5 million TEUs.
