The Southeast Railway is experiencing a remarkable increase in freight volumes, with a 19% rise recorded in May 2026 compared to the same month last year. Achieving a total of 390,000 tons, these results underscore the positive impact of enhanced construction activities and ongoing transportation infrastructure repairs. Construction materials have played a pivotal role in this growth, soaring to 126,400 tons, which translates to around 1,800 freight car shipments.
